The bill received resistance from Republican lawmakers and religious groups for its “culturally appropriate” guidelines, including education on gender identities, different types of families, sexual orientation, consent and a woman’s options during pregnancy.

“For those in grade 8, which usually includes children whose ages range from 12 to 13, the guidelines say they should know how to access short-term and long-term contraception and what methods of contraception that can be obtained without a prescription.”

Let’s see if Governor Pritzker signs Senate Bill 818 which passed in the State House and State Senate in the 102nd ILGA.

8th graders, here is how to have safe sex and where you can get contraceptives.

Because suburban and rural citizens are lobbying their legislators hard for that right?

So the kids can ride their bike to get contraceptives, since they can’t drive yet.

And if they get pregnant, no sweat, there’s abortions.

And now everyone gets to learn about periods, because a female can’t get pregnant unless she has a period.

And you can identify as male, but still have a period, so males can have a baby.

etc.

Where’s the flow chart?

It gets better; children can have abortions, and not notify their parents!

And if they chose to have the baby (although everyone will encourage them to kill the baby instead), the state will provide: free pre-natal care, pay for the delivery, give cash payments, rental assistance, free formula, pay for daycare, all of their education up through community college and give them free breakfasts and lunches every day too. And teach them what bad people conservatives are.

Critical that leftists drive a wedge into the family unit. They want conformity to the state who will inform children of the values they should have. Not the parents.

Audio: Wirepoints’ Mark Glennon says Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades – Chicago’s Morning Answer

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
