Sexual misconduct, misuse of funds and employees under investigation: Details from new Chicago schools report – CBS2 (Chicago)

The report questions how CPS used $2.8 billion in federal COVID relief funds to support e-learning. The report also mentions the district spends more than 55 percent of the money meant for elementary and secondary school emergency relief to cover the salaries of more than 11,000 new and existing employees.

It’s my hope our new Federal Government, in an effort to eliminate all the confusion and help this state manage the monies it receives, will find it best practice to start sending Springfield much smaller checks going forward.

Chicago’s citizens’ love suing the Chicago Police Department and getting big bucks in settlements. The plaintiff’s bar is missing a big payout opportunity by not suing Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Teachers’ Union for sexual crimes against minors. There is an excellent business opportunity here!

Yeah, people should know exactly how they spent $2.8 billion in Covid funds. In fact there should be a full disclosure by the state of all the Covid funds received and details on how it was all spent. I wonder if there were any questionable payments, or dare I say it….fraud?
