Tom Weitzel retired Riverside Chief of Police: If law enforcement leaders cannot stay out of the political fray and refrain from making purposefully inflammatory statements for their own personal gain, the profession is doomed.

Their sworn duty is to uphold the Constitution, not an illegal law.

I wonder if Tom Weitzel wrote an opinion piece about Illinois not upholding federal immigration law or laws that States must cooperate with ICE (which Illinois dos not)? Also wonder if he wrote a piece criticizing federal law enforcement agencies for not staying out of the political fray in regards to the Russian collusion false narrative? Of course the Sun Times is happy to publish this rubbish. A useless political rag.
