Springfield has more video gaming terminals than any other city in the state, with nearly 140 businesses offering the machines. Chicago’s City Council has maintained its ban on VGTs since the state legalized the gaming machines for businesses holding liquor licenses in 2012.
Chicago won’t allow video gambling but wants the money. If they want the money, allow video gambling. Typical of Chicago. They see money, they want it.
Truth in Cook County

I did not process that the city restaurants and bars did not have video gaming, but now realize they do not. And the state makes over $800 million a year from suburbs and downstate? Obviously a lot of that money is going to Chicago, as they control the state legislatures. They understand that only the uneducated and addicted use these terminals. They are protecting the huge population of such people in the city, while preying on these populations in the suburbs and downstate. What unethical trolls.
