The Chicago Automobile Trade Association is meeting with representatives from the state on Thursday about bringing back the Auto Show. Once they get the green light, they still need the approval from the City of Chicago.

But will the national conventions return? And if they do, will the visitors return? I have zero interest in visiting downtown Chicago to walk around a convention center wearing a goofy mask. This is all wishful thinking naively believing they can just flip a switch and it will all go back to before.
