So… when will people learn? History repeats itself, and apparently this time faster than usual.

Phases will lead to tiers and possibly another GD bridge to no where.

He needs to do this because the primaries are coming up and they need to change their narrative to fit better for elections. Many people in Illinois have a short memory problem and will fall for it. You watch, the fat man here will change everything in the next few months to garner support and votes. That is all this is about.

2 things are clear, in case we doubted it before:

1. Teachers unions hate children, and want this sanctioned child abuse to continue.
2. Pritzker will do whatever the teachers unions want done.

Oh, and step up those pension payments.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
