Since elected,he’s never had a general election opponent. He had no primary opponents in 2012, 2014. He had a three way primary in 2016 he won 65%, in 2018 he won 65% in a two way primary race, but 2020 gave him a run for his money, and he defeated his primary opponent 54 to 46.
