The Illinois Worker Adjustment and Retraining Act Report for the month of October announced 3,384 coming layoffs in the state – most of them permanent, and many of them at Chicago restaurants.

Green County Wisconsin beer distributor reported over 200 bars and restaurants closed as in out of business. Same source said the number will go over 600 in the coming months. Triple that number in Cook County
