Legal taxpayers do not want to fund illegal college students. Fund legal IL students only. Pritzker is pro illegals over US citizens. He rust wants to import voters. Goes along with hid gerrymandering. Also, we need to block “Get Covered IL”.. That is just another way for taxpayers to pay for health insurance for illegals. JB can’t run the state, why does he think that IL can run health insurance?

If he were looking out for his constituents, he would not offer any financial assistance to those here illegally.

Only it doesn’t offer preferential treatment. It puts illegals on the same footing and does not offer them anything more than any other citizen with the same financial/academic background. I completely disagree with spending money on illegals but it’s not illegal. No, Trump will not be filing a lawsuit.

Hence my comment, “does not offer them anything more than any other citizen with the same financial/academic background. Every state university across the country has their own way of deciding who is in state and who is out of state. If Illinois declares someone “in-state” because they have lived here x amount of time or graduated from an Illinois High school then they are in-state. Again, it’s not right but also not illegal. Not everything we disagree with… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
