Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Alaska and Nevada had problems with there RCV. Also in this article voting day is mentioned We have lost that day long ago. Look what happened in Pennsylvania ( senate race). So it’s not up to the voter to change, it will be decided by the parties not voters. Lastly can we not fix the problems we have before moving on to something else.
Oh hell no.
I know absolutely no one who is calling for ranked choice voting. But what I do hear a call for is Voter ID, no drop boxes and the only mail in ballots are requested absentee ballots that are verified. Of course not one of the asked for items is being considered by Democrats who enjoy rigging the game.
If Democrats support it then it’s an undemocratic scam.
NO. Ranked choice is horrible.
