That was snuck through in the 900 page budget that lawmakers had about a day to peruse the final draft of and, unlike Welch’s attempted sleight of hand, undetected. It’s also worth noting that this piece of property was rumored to be owned in part by a defendant in the notorious Truck for Hire scandal.
