State’s top public health official to leave post – Center Square

Illinois Department of Public Health Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike announced she would leave her $178,200-a-year post on March 14. Amaal Tokars, the agency's assistant director, will serve as interim director during a nationwide search to find a longer-term replacement.

She did a terrible job. She should have been fired.

Also stupid that she says she is an inspiration for black girls (only black girls?) and that she is a powerful woman to show young men how women are in the work place.

So her job is all about race and gender, and little about science or medicine.

Which explains why she did a terrible job.
