Oh Essence, you’ve learned the indoctrination lessons taught you so well and now probably make a living walking around and DEMANDING everything. Such a sterling example of the CPS “ graduates “. Wait until one of your fellow Marxist students or their educators catch a stomp down and wait for the Ben Crumps of the world come crawling out from under their rocks with lawsuits against the police in hand for not protecting them.

They’re getting exactly what they want: The right to brutally assault other occupants of the school building without the police getting involved to break it up. That’s why the cops are there in schools. There’s few mass shootings (in non-gang banger sense, at least) at inner city schools. The cops are there to break up fights and sniff out drugs and guns. Because there are lots of fights and drugs at these schools. Take away the SRO and now the teachers and staff has to break up the fights, which they will be reluctant to do.

And when they have to call CPD for those situations, let CPD drag their feet and send social workers instead.

Stupid chickens.

Get the cops out of the schools where they are not wanted and put them back on the streets where they might be more useful.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
