If I’m being spoon fed by the government, I don’t pay taxes and therefore am not going to upend the apple cart. At the other end of the social strata, if I’m crazy wealthy, I have lawyers that could find a loophole in the Magna Carta. So now we have those trapped between clowns on the left and jokers on the right. A good number of those are likely employees of the government in one capacity or another and won’t kick too much lest positions be eliminated and those sweet pensions go floating down the river.
