The response from suburban legislators to Gov. J.B. Pritzker's address Wednesday split mostly on party lines over whether the plans he outlined offered true solutions to the state's budget woes.
I’d wager most state residents aren’t even aware of this budget speech. It doesn’t move the needle at all. JB’s move to address inflation is too little too late, and it shows his desperation. A bold move would have been reducing the income tax back down to 3.5% like it was a few years ago.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
JB sucks!
