Robert Rybaltowski has made contact with IDES more than 40 times since the state erroneously stopped his unemployment benefits almost two weeks ago, but it’s getting him nowhere.
Rybaltowski: “It’s just so confusing. Kozlov: “You don’t know what to do.” Rybaltowski: “No, and I’ve done everything they told me to do.” Rybaltowski said bills are piling up. “It’s just stressful,” he said. A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
