A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
As a school superintendent, you are assumed to have a degree of smarts. Why would you be stupid enough to charge porn to a school credit card? In the digital world everything is recoverable and traceable. Why is it that almost everyday there is some school official or employee involved in some sort of sex scandal?
I’ve commented elsewhere that when I got a business credit card within the last five years: It had a $5K limit It was to be used for specific business purposes (airline tickets for travelling to/from clients, lodging near the client site, rental cars, meals while on business travel, etc.) To get reimbursed (aka the card balance paid off) I was required to send PDFs of receipts or emails of receipts for review by Accounting/HR I often had to call my management and ask if treating clients to dinner was an acceptable expense Of course, I am in the private sector,… Read more »
