Taxpayer-Funded Group Teaches Marxist, ‘Queer’ Resistance At Anti-Trump Summer Camp in Chicago – Daily Caller

A participant of a Women's March in Helsinki holds up a poster depicting US President Donald Trump and German dictator Adolf Hitler on January 21, 2017, one day after the US president's inauguration.PMI’s event represents another example of taxpayer dollars going toward nonprofitsinvolved in leftist political pursuits. PMI took in more than $320,000 in governmentgrants from 2020 to 2023, according to its tax filings. "Queer magic” as a form of resistance."

I strongly recommend that everyone listen to Joe Rogan’s interview of James Lindsay in March of 2024, They spend a good amount of time discussing “queer pedagogy”, the goal of which is to “lead children into personal crisis, and then structure their environment so they resolve their crisis toward social justice”… trauma bonding. Also, your “family friendly” drag quory hour is a “preparatory introduction into alternate modes of kinship.” The “queer” in queer theory is opposed to anything that tells them “no”. Let that sink in. Please don’t think that this adult summer camp isn’t training the campers in all… Read more »

i assume that the people who are rightfully against things like this are also equally against things like prayer/religion in public schools?

There is a vast difference between exposing children in public schools to the Judeo-Christian values that our wonderful Constitution is based upon, and taxpayer funding of anti-American values at a Marxist camp. Strange that some people cannot tell the difference.

i vehemently disagree as both of them are based on delusions & have no basis in reality-the same is true about the fallacious claim that the US constitution is based on biblical values. here is an excellent, in depth discussion about why this is simply untrue:

I read your article. The author contradicts himself from the get-go. He starts by stating that the founders were Christians, albeit not in the modern conservative sense. Then, he proceeds to explain away the connection of the Constitution to Judeo-Christian values by only looking at the Old Testament. FYI… CHRISTianity is a New Testament story. The founders based the framing of the Constitution on the lessons found in the New Testament, English Common Law (which drew from the Hebrew Bible) and in the Enlughtment, primarily the belief that the individual is sovereign and divine, hence the individual liberites set forth… Read more »

Why do taxpayers needs to fund left wing Marxist groups. They should not be receiving taxpayer funds. They should be doing private funding from people who agree with them. I do not. My tax dollars should not go to them.

Sounds like what from Head Start through CPS and onto many of our universities have been tacitly promoting. Thanks Wirepoints for continuing to shine light here.

Sorry, but we need to acknowledge that the “ queer friendly “ agenda has morphed ( no pun intended ) into a radical one that has only disdain for the rest of us in er, traditional relationships. The trans thing is the topper as to how far they will go to have the gay/ asexual world they are striving for. It’s no longer enough to tolerate their lifestyle, if you don’t celebrate it and become part of it, you’re hateful etc. etc. ad nauseam.

i agree-it’s the exact same as christian nationalism, just on the opposite end of the political spectrum.

Their non-profit status should be re-examined. There was nothing on their recently filed 990 forms indicating any political activities.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
