Among the consequences of economic growth that badly lags national averages are billions of lost revenue every year. Yet denial reigns in Illinois, fueling the vicious cycle of demand for higher taxes.
All the rich suburban kids drinking and smoking the legal pot. The party never ends. These were not the poor immigrants but born and raised in the good old USA.
Naperville used to be a nice conservative community 30 years ago when I moved here. Now it’s just a virtue signaling group of “woke” left wing libs who don’t care what their teens are up to. They buy them a pricey car for their 16th birthday and a credit card with no limits. These kids are copying what they see going on in Chicago. They’re “punk” wannabes. Looting will follow unless the police stick with their zero-tolerance policy.
Arrest them. Keep them till 5:55 a.m. but call parents at 5 a.m. to come sign them out. Set court date with parent attendance mandatory. Won’t happen again.Trust me. Personal experience.
Arrest all these minors and make the parents come get them. This is criminal destructive behavior. Maybe if parents were inconvenienced they would pay attention to what their kids are up to.
