Of course it was a total stunt. Alexi blamed the “Proud Boys” for the book bans. The Proud Boys are the left’s boogieman for any rightwing issue they don’t like.

And don’t forget the irony that the proud boys were thoroughly infiltrated by the feds. The top guys were federal informants. The entire thing is a self-licking ice cream cone of authoritarianism and agitprop.

And as I said earlier, your local librarian is a nut job. The head of the ALA American LIbrary Organization, they make book lists, is a Marxist and completely insane. I warned a few months back that the librarians went ultrawoke and totally crazy:
