The Chicago Index: 73% of those surveyed think Chicago is on the wrong track – ABC7 (Chicago)

Of the issues facing the city, 67% of survey respondents said reducing public corruption was essential to focus on in the next two years. Politicians received low marks for job performance. The Chicago City Council received the lowest marks, with only 7% of those surveyed giving them and excellent or good rating.

I was thinking the same thing. For years they have been electing the same sort of people. Isn’t there some saying about and idiot is defined as some one doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different outcome?

Chicago was on the wrong track in 1989 when I left the city proper.
The last 32 years have just compounded those issues.
