Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The Democrats have created this violent monster. In 2020 they fertilized it and our then Mayor and current Governor joined and encouraged this cancerous beast in the streets. And the MSM Pravda Media called their perverted reaction to a drug addict’s death “Firey but mostly peaceful”. In 2024 Democrats will reap the whirlwind that they have sown. I will be at my house many miles from United Center but with my 2nd Amendment tools hoping to not need to use them but willing to wipe out every monster on my street if needed.
Let’s hope the media covers the hijinks. Fortunately social media will ensure that we see what is going on, but will CBS, NBC and ABC give it any attention? They’re too busy conspiring with the DNC to somehow keep the Dems from self destructing.
