Illinois right now desperately needs a DOGE to address the many problems we have statewide (instead of DOGE hacking at federal agencies we actually need and that Elon doesn’t understand). Imagine if DOGE actually did something useful for Illinois, like reducing our number of government agencies. From the Tribune: “There are so many units of government in Illinois that people can’t even agree on the total because of differences over what technically qualifies as a government body. For 2026 election there should be a referendum on the ballot to create a department of DOGE in Illinois and make it binding, how’s that frost your nut- Pritzker
