The Democrats’ Phony Border War – Editorial – Wall Street Journal

The wild bunch of mayors heading toward the Rio Grande are still afraid of the one action that might help slow the flow of migrants: Putting pressure on President Biden. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson says he’ll visit Texas’ southern border soon to see the migrant issue firsthand. Each of these Democrats knows, or at least should, that the main obstacle to reforming asylum policy now is in their own party. Republicans would happily reform the asylum law but can’t without Democratic support—and that means leadership from the White House.

Shinebama is the one running the show in DC. Bidet is a drooling, oatmeal eating Alzheimer’s figurehead.

Deport them all. Now. Toss their illegal assess across the border. Name the border deportation centers as follows: Nevada – Harry Reid Deportation Center, Texas- Joseph Biden Deportation Center. California – Kamala Harris Deportation Center. Here in Illinois Obama Deportation Center. Make the Democrats own this mess.

Round ‘em up and send them home – as soon as possible.

Then ban them from ever returning.

Also, reverse “birthright” citizenship – no more anchor babies.

“Democrats know that even modest asylum restrictions would draw fire from the left, so they stop short of asking President Biden to do it.”

This is a lie and the WSJ knows it.

They’re using Dennis Prager’s definition of The Left which makes a clear distinction between Liberals (Normie Dems, Dems, liberals) and The Left (commies)

The people responsible for this mess belong in Dante’s seventh circle. The problem is here too! Johnson should be touring these shelters and cracking down on the machine profiting from this misfortune! He can also say no to new arrivals. Anyone getting paid in excess of fair market rates for services is a thief and is stealing from these people down on their luck. This is truly the most sickening political kickback scheme I’ve ever witnessed. One of my contacts said it best: “We are toys.” The amount of money being stolen and booked as administrative services is a scandal… Read more »

Hey I like that. Forward that up to BJ and see if he takes your advice. Should he do that I wonder if the immigrants will follow orders to stay out.

More political theater. Border visits and border wall announcements are magicians deception tricks to avert the real problem and the only desperately needed federal action which is to actually shut down all border access immediately- sort out the chaos and then maybe resume under some sense of control and order.

Yep.

Everyone knows what’s going on at the border, particularly powerful pol’s like BJ.

You can bet that Johnson’s already picked exactly what he’s going to get pictured ‘seeing’ during his visit, he’s not going to ‘discover’ anything he doesn’t already know about.

Likely already knows what he’s going to say about it, to. Probably has the press releases already written.

As you say, political theater.

Yes, pure and simple: political theater.

Brandon will get to see some brown type people
“fuunnin around.” Perhaps they, the browns, will get their first taste of racism from Brandon as it seems for some reasons the blacks don’t want the browns moving into their neighborhoods.
All I can see is “funnin times at the border” for Brandon and his compadres.

How did Riverbender make wirepoints look bad? Brandon Johnson’s own term is “funnin” or maybe “fun’n” around when used to describe the incidents of mob action. Are you insinuating Brandon Johnson is somehow racist or using stereotypical caricature in a negative way? Brandon Johnson has given our cultural lexicon many new entries such as “Baby Al Capones” and “Fun’n”, stop being so eurocentric and embrace your new culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

It’s divisive and flippant. It portrays an ethnic group as racist, which is patently untrue.

We all need to get along if we want to solve this mess.

Absolutely not David Hardy. I don’t think you realize the depth of the marxist rot in our government, institutions and now corporations. They are changing the long accepted cultural norms, language, meaning of words themselves, introducing whole new pseudoscientific “sociological” frameworks by which to justify ever increasing unconstitutional laws and ordinances targeted at you Mr. Hardy. They are at war with our culture and playing by a whole different set of rules while you still cling to antiquated notions of nicety. You need to use their terms against them, mock them, make that marxist neighbor of yours think twice before… Read more »

Dave: They are systematically trying to destroy you. It would be behoove you recognize this:

Minorities Are Delivering All the US Labor Supply Growth
It’s a striking statistic, gathered by Bloomberg News reporters from US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission data: 94% of the 323,094 jobs added in 2021 by members of the S&P 100 Index — the biggest US corporations, basically — went to people of color, defined as everybody but non-Hispanic White people.

Or put another way, BLM Effect: 94% of New Jobs at S&P 100 Corporations Went to Non-Whites After Protests – Report White people were seemingly passed over for jobs following the civil unrest of 2020 as major corporations gave more than nine out of 10 available positions to non-white applicants, according to a new report. After the death of George Floyd on Memorial Day 2020, many of the nation’s cities were consumed by rioting and protests. Soon, major corporations and sports leagues got behind the Black Lives Matter movement. But according to Bloomberg, corporate America responded to the unrest with… Read more »

Just stop. A few days ago you told me to disregard garbage news sites and today you’re linking to one. I’ve had people try to steal my money and business for as long as I’ve been working. What’s new? Capitalism is ruthless. I’m supposed to be scared of some DEI hires? This stuff only works as long as someone else is paying for it. We all know the DEI trend isn’t going to end well and companies will eventually revert back to competent employees. Why are you trying so hard to portray opposition you’re against as stronger than they really… Read more »

“We all know the DEI trend isn’t going to end well and companies will eventually revert back to competent employees.”

No, not everyone knows that. That’s an assumption that isn’t guaranteed to happen.

As for WaPo, I did think twice about linking to them, but they were just quoting the BLS, and that’s the part I copied.

I’m well educated on Marxism and the manipulation of language. You’re helping them buy over-analyzing their techniques instead of learning to work together with others and put a stop to it. The reality is that most people aren’t racist and the Democrats aren’t nearly as strong as the media portrays them. The primary function of mass media is in convincing people that they’re all alone and there’s nothing they can do in the face of whatever threat they’e been contracted to push at the moment. Cohesion and morale are the prerequisites to any change and it’s the primary function of… Read more »

Chicago Teachers Union contract demands are totally divorced from reality – Wirepoints

Details emerging about Chicago Teachers Union’s upcoming contract show just how divorced its demands, both extreme and expensive, are from the reality at Chicago schools. It’s not just about massive salary increases, but also about money for migrant students, climate initiatives, abortions and gender-affirming care. About blocking parental notification. Count on CTU’s demands to veer further from reality until the public finally says no.

Gov. Pritzker’s ‘ethics reform’ eliminates competitive elections and choice for voters – Wirepoints on AM 560 Chicago’s Morning Answer

Ted joined Dan and Amy to talk about a new law passed by the Democratic supermajority and signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker that results in brazen election interference, keeping Republicans off ballots; about a referendum that tests the waters for a renewed progressive income tax hike; about how the Parental Notification referendum question was knocked off the ballot; and why laws like that pass so easily.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
