Hertz rental just sold 10,000 EVs from their fleet,of approx 30,000 EVs at a loss of $195 million. EVs are being sold due to high repair costs and lack of spare parts.
Plus they suck in cold weather and don’t go far without a charge!!
Also hard on the roads cause of their weight and it is said they are bad for the atmosphere.
Rivian execs can’t believe their good fortune. Pritzker is their sugar daddy, and he is hellbent on making them successful. Rivian will never, repeat never, be a successful manufacturer of EVs. It simply can’t be done. They can however milk the state of Illinois for billions before the game is over. At this point all we can do is hope JB continues his binge eating.
