Comment: This column illustrates the media perspective -- if you're not a far left progressive, then you're a "conservative," even though you're a Democrat.

What garbage: “The teaching profession, on the other hand, attracts liberals, since it’s concerned with inquiry.” I would submit that the teaching profession is concerned with brainwashing and mind control. CTU members have nothing to do with inquiry and everything to do with tyranny.

I know, Edward Robert McClelland, the author, is such a goof. He’s one of these guys who thinks that if he too hates on the Deplorables, the progressives will consider him an Ally, and sacrifice him last.

Edward, if you’re reading this, the progressives only see you for the color of your skin, and no matter how many times you point out the content of your articles, the illiterate CPS educated mob won’t care, and they’ll treat you the same as any other Deplorable.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
