The Great Blue to Red State Migration Continues – Wall Street Journal

"Eight states saw population declines, with the biggest in New York (-101,984), California (-75,423) and Illinois (-32,826). They can blame population flight.... You don’t need artificial intelligence to spot what these states have in common: High taxes, burdensome business regulation and inflated energy and housing prices."

What Wisconsin just did may have broader implications around the country.

WI Republicans aren’t just sit back idly and do nothing when four progressive supreme court justices demand new maps and threaten to adopt maps on their own.

Like the article says, Republicans have a majority in the house and a supermajority in the Senate. That means….IMPEACHMENT!!! It takes a supermajority to remove a Supreme Court Justice and WI republicans have the power to do that. And they will, they’ve been threatening it for a while.

This is how you place hard ball in politics.

LOL I’m a day late and a dollar short, apparently on 12/22 the impeachment threat came off the table because the Dem. Gov gets to appoint a new D judge that stays in office until 2031.

If there is a reapportionment you can count on epic gerrymandering. The blue states states losing seats will simply realign to expel any Republican house members. It will happen in Illinois for sure…..again.

2030 reapportionment? There will only be a reapportionment favorable to Red states if someone other than a Demonrat occupies the White House.

Last I checked, the reapportionment is determined by a federal agency. As we’ve seen, there isn’t one federal agency that isn’t corrupt to the core.

Just like it only matters who oversees the vote counts, it only matters who is overseeing the census determining reapportionment.

It’s the Chicago way gone national and was completely predictable when bathhouse Barry was selected POTUS.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
