Nonsense. Chicagoans love being perpetual losers. They wallow in their status as slaves and abused persons. It’s not distress when the people so “distressed” love it and will live no other way.

Really no surprise. They may pay the taxes in cash, but then they charge other needs with a credit card. In essence they are charging the taxes increases on their credit cards. They rob Peter to pay Paul.
