A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
why is this not built in the Loop? I live in Las Vegas now. If a casino is in a residential area, it’s more like a hotel with a lot of buffer from residents. I can bike to Red Rock Casino from my house. But, an expressway and a busy road buffer me along with shopping centers. This location makes ZERO sense. The Loop with access to trains, the L, buses, and expressways makes total sense especially now that no one goes to the Loop anymore. They ought to locate it over by Lou Mitchell’s.
Will the casino be unionized?
Considering that Bally’s is unionized in both AC and Vegas it would stand to reason that this casino would be no different.
Residents should be thankful Lori hasn’t approved a mule rendering plant for glue. It would be her style; she fights dirty. A slap and run expert!
Anyone expecting Turd Lightweight to change her mind is crazy. That would be like admitting she was wrong, and she’ll never admit that!
