New federal bill scales back tax incentives for certain types of energy like wind and solar. Before the bill’s enactment, Gov. J.B. Pritzker warned that will lead to clean energy job losses and will mean higher consumer costs. “We’re not going to be able to meet the needs of industry and we’re going to see higher prices for consumers. We already see higher prices,” Pritzker said.
Governor Porkulus Maximus must not understand that eliminating Natural gas and coal fired baseload energy plants is what is increasing energy costs. Until the state massively ramps up Nuclear generation , prices will continue to climb.

Germany went all all in on green grift and graft for its energy needs.
Now they are being forced to go back to burning wood for heat.

China brings a new coal fired power plant online every two weeks !!! They don’t care about climate change.

Maybe we wouldn’t need more energy resulting in higher prices if Butterworth didn’t go out of his way to lure useless businesses here that employ a couple of dozen people and eat up electricity like he goes through a slab of ribs. IL doesn’t deserve this garbage.
Read the statistics on China and coal. They are still building new and bigger coal plants. They buy millions of tons of coal from the US. Largest consumers of coal. They have not reduced but increased emissions from coal. They know their industries rely on reliable energy which solar and wind are not.
If you’re a pol, especially an IL pol, you always have to blame someone else for your mismanagement.

JB Pritzker refuses to accept responsibility for mucking up electricty costs in IL to support the New Green Steal. Remand the Democrats idiotic CEJA. Stop Democrats with mucking up the natural gas supply next!

After decimating the cheap and reliable electricity generating stations, who would have thought that heavily subsidized, most expensive means of generating electricity would reveal its true cost someday?
Actually, we all did, at least those capable of thinking and breathing at the same time. JB the Hutt is certainly welcome to tithe to the Climate Religion and pay for it himself.

Once again we see Pritzker blaming everyone and thing for the problems he has created.
Astonishing hutzpah from Pritzker on this. It’s his Net Zero, go-green policies that created the pending crisis, which became apparent long before recent renewable cutbacks.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

Fat turd did this to us.
Don’t forget all his lunatic Leftist friends in the State house!
Wind and solar are intermittent energy.
The modern world needs continuous energy.
China’s going all in.

Oh, goody! Maybe their slave labor will be able to keep the lights on past five in the afternoon and work even harder.

If Porkulus wasn’t blaming someone or something else for problems he created, he wouldn’t have anything to say.
