Trump targets Chicago law firm, Jenner & Block in latest executive order aimed at law firms – Reuters

The order resembled ones that Trump previously issued against prominent firms Perkins Coie and Paul Weiss. These orders suspended security clearances for their lawyers and restricted their access to government buildings, officials and federal contracting work.

Hard to imagine there are still former justice lawyers floating around with security clearances. How disappointing an executive order hasn’t already been signed.

Albert Jenner is spinning in his grave over what has become of the firm that bears his name. This is classic ‘FA, FO’, as the kids say. Their suspension is warranted, as are the ones for Perkins Coie and Paul Weiss. All three monetized access to classified information, with Perkins Coie grifting from their access for naked partisan activiies.

Sorry, Albert. Your legacy deserves better. Your profession abandoned ethics a while back in favor of TDS. Shame.
