Over 1000 corruption convictions of politicians etc in the last 20 years. Amazing, but they are still stealing and bribing every chance they get. There are 3 or 4 Chicago pols under indictment along a few more state elected officials. Greed is the first course taught in Illinois Politics 101.

Ok Lori I’ll take that as an indication you won’t be needing any federal money for pensions, or whatever. Great. Everything in Chicago is going so good that even suggesting federal funds are wanted would be like an insult.

It IS a well run state if your goal is ” Into The Ground”

A well run state…a well-run-state? Mayor, the State is broke, in debt up to its rear-end and our elected officials have taken no action in the past 20 years to resolve the financial problems. What are you smoking? She’s like Kevin Bacon at the end of Animal House standing in the street yelling “All is well! – “All is well” as chaos is happening around him.

To say that Illinois is a well run state is to essentially say that a square is a circle

She contradicted herself, bc she DID take business-closings lightly — ignored the Beauty Salons closing and called her haircut a necessary business for one person, herself. What a dreadful person. Kind of like our Gov Hogan in Md…….well he’s a bit less extreme.

Has anyone asked Lori Lightfoot about her stance regarding Tara Reade’s allegations? Remember she said Kavanuagh was “utterly unqualified to be a judge”? ” How does this reconcile against her endorsement of Joe Biden?

She needs to get tested for Trump-Derangement-Syndrome or Joe-Biden-Disease — utterly delusional.

I’m still amazed that any thinking, rational person would vote for Ms Beatlejuice. Chicago has earned whatever comes it way.

My lord! please tell me she is referring to Indiana. I haven’t hear a single person in a decade claim Illinois is a well run state. Not one single person.

From the point of view of a progressive, the state is well run. Abortion is legal and available everywhere, union members are well compensated and paid more than non-union members, weed is legal, the racist hillbillies south of I-80 have no political power, and the legislature is diverse, and there are ample opportunities for social justice everywhere, which is the by-product of their own progressive policies. What’s not to like? It’s practically a progressive’s paradise!

Nice name calling, again, about people you know nothing about. Let’s see, ISU is south of 80. U of I is south of 80, state Capitol south of 80, etc etc etc. Nice of you to insult a couple of million Illinoisans because of your hatred and disgust of your neighbors. What a failure of a person you are. Kids eating cat food yet? Hope they will soon. Oh and by the way, PAY ME!

So you’re saying what makes progressives happy is infanticide, burdensome public employee pensions, drug abuse, deep-seated segregation in Chicago, a corrupt legislature, and misguided social engineering that always ignores its harmful consequences? I guess I can’t argue with you, you got me! ;p

Groot’s deadly incompetence has led to Chicago becoming a worldwide hotspot for Covid deaths. Third world nations are handling covid better than Groot. How’s that 3000 bed McCormick hospital doing?

If Ill. is a well run state, then how did it lose $47 billion from unfunded OPEB’s last year?

Never argue with an idiot, because to a passerby, it looks like two idiots arguing.
