Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.

Homan is what we needed in 1986 when the Amnesty bill was signed that gave 2.7 million illegals amnesty. We were supposed to have secure borders and employment ID. What we got was another 15 million illegals and open borders. The Left will now try to tear into Homan in every way possible.
I think he is up to it. But Trump will have to back him all the way by issuing countless EO’s as the DEMS try to block him in the courts.

Really JB? Really? Imagine the next Republican’s campaign advertisement: JB Pritzker is hiding child molesters, murders domestic abusers and rapists in Illinois. He refuses to cooperate with federal authorities to remove these dangerous criminals off our streets. There’s several Willie Hortons in there! Kamala’s ‘Willie Horton’ was the anonymous imprisoned illegal immigrant who wanted a sex change, and she said she would pay for it! I’m an Illinois resident and I support the federal government withholding funding if the “Big Boy” wants to stand in the way. Then the blimp can take it to court and spend more taxpayer money in support of people who are not even citizens. Nice job idiot!
Ring the bell to start the first round. It is time to see just how much of a tough guy JB really is. He has never really been tested with the friendly Obama/Biden crowd in office. My money is on Homan and the feds. JB doesn’t have clue about the myriad of ways the feds will come after him. And it won’t be just Homan. This destructive DEI governor can’t even keep legal immigrants and citizens safe. But he’s going to the mat (Sumo style!) to protect illegals and those who claimed asylum? His values and priorities are misplaced to say the least. Why would we not deport criminals? By criminals I mean those arrested for crimes that require police involvement. That is not unreasonable, Pritzker is.
