A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Equity is also lazy. Equal opportunity was always the gold standard, the person only had to add the hard work to that opportunity to achieve great things. Now they scream equity as though someone can jump straight to achievement without the work. The concept of granted equity based on skin color is racist. The concept of equity granted to anyone is just stupid and lazy, it results in millions of people getting paid while incompetent.
Ill be voting for a white mayor in 2023!
Good God, what is wrong with Lighthead? Can you imagine if the situation was reversed and a white mayor said this about black reporters?
You have to wonder how much more embarrassment Chicago and Illinois voters can take. On top of the crime, taxes, public school closing fiasco, silly lockdown waffling, etc.–now we have to put up with this kind of international black eye. Doesn’t anyone in this state have any pride any longer.
Coleman Young in Detroit pursued the same policies. The result were predictable, driving out whites but also middle class blacks. Why would Chicago have any different outcomes?
Why would any bright, aspiring political reporter who is white come to Chicago? Why, for that matter, would any white guy interested in public service of any kind come to Chicago or the state? The sign is up: White guys need not apply.
White people have almost zero representation in our government, just shut up & pay your taxes…
