Two busloads of migrants dropped off at Elmhurst train station – Daily Herald*

Scenes like the one in Elmhurst have occurred in other communities across northeast Illinois in recent weeks, including Fox River Grove, Aurora and the Kankakee area. Officials believe they were prompted by Chicago officials announcing in mid-November that bus companies could be ticketed and fined or see vehicles impounded for violating rules about passenger debarkation, including a requirement to schedule such stops. Rosemont and Aurora have enacted similar rules for buses.

Drop them all off in Naperville. They have turned hard blue in the last 20 years. Time to reap the rewards.

But every person in the NGOs running these illegal human trafficking operations deserve to be imprisoned for the rest of their life doing hard time. Everyone from lowly revolutionary Lupita doing intakes all the way up to the big wigs at doctor without borders. Prison for all of them. Prison in El Salvador with the gang bangers. Let them reflect for the rest of their life on the misery they’ve caused the citizens of the United States.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
