Article image The funds will support research that studies “structural and institutionalize systems of disparity and disenfranchisement” or “lead[s] to the removal of barriers that inhibit access to education, opportunity, support, and resources” in these areas.

Witch-hunt routing out “racism” wherever it’s hiding? Nope. More virtue-signaling, wrote large.

How about investigating the university’s own race-baiters? Interesting article on NYT website today, about white professors who fraudulently establish themselves as “POC”, a la Elizabeth Warren’s own alias, a career-building move, granting her affirmative action-hires only due to her own faux-Cherokee identification. No institutional interest in “systemic racism” investigation of those pale-faced liberal professors living an outright lie, creating fraudulent POC ethnic-origin family-histories, gaming affirmative action and garning media attention, all by assuming a false ethnic identity.

Tucker last night asked why one can identify as a different gender but not a different race, or ethnicity, or even height or weight.

Extremely wealthy individuals and organizations see it in their best interest to fund and prioritize any and all things that deflect from their own culpability in the oppression of the citizenry and also makes impossible any kind of worker solidarity. For example, the most prolific funder of the 1619 Project is Emily Rauh Pulitzer and the Emily Rauh Pulitzer Foundation

Good idea. Let’s force thousands of 18 to 22 year-olds to borrow more in student loans to pay for this nonsense. It is incredible how these do-gooders screw the little people over and over again.

And quite ironically it is often the 18 to 22 year old’s that demand things like this that add up to your correct observations.

Considering just over 40% of the student body comes from out-of-state, maybe invest $2 million in trying to retain Illinois students whose parents’ tax dollars keeps the damn school afloat.

Time for the wallet to snap shut when the calls come from this formerly great University. Unfortunately it, like most universities, has been taken over by radical liberal leadership.Need to starve the vermin out.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
