U.S. Rep. Sean Casten, others evacuated from DNC headquarters during protest calling for Gaza cease-fire – Chicago Sun-Times

At Wednesday’s protest, nearly 150 protesters “illegally and violently” rallied in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, police said. Protesters blocked entrances and exits from the building, according to a post on X from Casten, and Capitol police escorted members of Congress to safety.

With the insurrectionists pounding on the doors of their HQ, if they’d have used Casten as a door stop he’d finally have real purpose.

Alas, he remains the boat anchor at the swim meet.
