Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I would have asked that lady showing Gazan casualties on her phone if she had ANY pics of the Israeli casualties from Oct 7th…. Y’know, just to be fair…
Just ask the Hamas fan club about the hostages still being held and then direct them to the nearest exit.
According to Douglas Murray, there’s no country in the world that’s taken in “Palestinians”, that hasn’t experienced violence…except, for now, America.
The IDF is systematically eliminating terrorists.
There are plenty of reasons to gripe at Downers Grove’s lead political animal Sean Casten. His support for Israel isn’t one of them.
The Hamas apologists wasted everyone’s time who attended Casten’s characteristically weak attempt at voter engagement, including that of Casten himself. It’s hard to make me pity political animals like Casten, but Hamas apologists (and most leftists) can be counted on to sink to the occasion.
Note to Hamas apologists: Yelling vitriol doesn’t make you right, it makes you childishly annoying and does your cause a disservice.
I agree … their childish and ill-informed rhetoric provides a service: revealing them for what they are, ill-informed and juvenile. Surprised they haven’t fallen to the ground in en masse tantrums.
Hamas apologists, open or in secret, are everywhere in congress and the white house. This protesters are just saying out loud what 1/3rd of Democrats believe. Especially the young Democrats, they have no love for Israel.
Casten has consistently spread misinformation about Trump, and cares not one bit about the dangerous outcome of his vitriol. How’s it feel Sean?
As an old adage went ( more or less ):” It’s a rough ride on the tigers back but it’s preferable to falling off and being eaten.”.
