Republicans on the Senate Commerce Committee are investigating Chicago’s housing of illegal immigrants at two airports in the city -- asking whether the city is violating funding requirements, and accusing the city of being an "illegal immigrant magnet" with its sanctuary city policy.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I don’t see how the assimilation of hundreds of thousands of unscreened, illegal immigrants into the Chicago area can end well. There are a number of reasons why this assimilation is bad for existing Chicago-area citizens. These reasons have already been identified by WP commenters many times over. Pritzker and Johnson should care enough about existing Chicago-area citizens to reverse this horribly irresponsible plan.
Make sure you bring those third world pathogens into an area that can spread them all over! I’ve already cut back on travel due to the pain in the ass it has become, not to mention the risk of flying with losers in a tin can which seems to bring out the worst in everyone. Now my hometown airport has been turned into an illegal immigrant Circus. No thanks.
Chicago and the state are quickly converting O’Hare from a world-class airport into a third-world camp for illegals sneaking into our country. As senior FBI people just wrote, many of the sneaks are military-age men from countries who despise the United States. That means they despise us and our freedom. Why on earth would American and Unites Airlines want to invest in O’Hare if this is the direction the city and state are heading?
In addition to voting perhaps part of the plan is to get the migrant males to join the military to fight the endless wars the USA seems to get into.
The migrants will join the military to attack you, deplorable. You or I might have a problem shooting at fellow Texans trying to secure the border; but a migrant who joined only for citizenship feels no qualms about shooting Americans, because he’s not an american.
