I worked for my UICC hardcore STEM degree because I wanted out of the ghetto (Woodlawn) in spite of losing my dad at 14, poverty and living in back of storefront without hot water or a bathtub. Science classes contain considerable amounts of normal mathematics, not common core attempted math. Therefore look at math scores of Chicago blacks and perhaps you will see the answer
