The Illinois job market continues faces ongoing issues. Slow job growth and high unemployment mark a struggling state economy. A large exodus of skilled workers does not help.

Surely the thousands of unskilled, unvetted people from all over the world now in IL will take up the slack for the capable employees fleeing, no? It’s not like they will shoplift, sell drugs, snatch gold chains/ cell phones and commit other crimes to put money in their collective pockets or anything like that, right?
