Currently the U of I system has few classes with 100% in-person learning. Lots of students are taking 100% of their classes online. There are not many hybrid classes either, and some students have complained the in-person component of some hybrid classes is not worth attending. Yet, there is a shortage of teachers in IL. Few want to teach here. Progressive ideologues are burning down the education system to save it. The CONTROL (CRTL) standards will only discourage more otherwise qualified teachers from entering education.
