University of Illinois announces expansion of in-person learning at all 3 campuses for fall – WGNTV (Chicago)

Earlier this month, the University of Illinois system received emergency use authorization from the FDA to expand the use of covidSHIELD, the saliva-based COVID-19 test. The test is 96% accurate, doesn’t have false positives and doesn’t require an uncomfortable, invasive nose swab.

Currently the U of I system has few classes with 100% in-person learning. Lots of students are taking 100% of their classes online. There are not many hybrid classes either, and some students have complained the in-person component of some hybrid classes is not worth attending. Yet, there is a shortage of teachers in IL. Few want to teach here. Progressive ideologues are burning down the education system to save it. The CONTROL (CRTL) standards will only discourage more otherwise qualified teachers from entering education.
