Up to $9 million in lost tax revenue estimated from Illinois’ gun ban – Center Square

Federal Firearms Licensees of Illinois, which represents licensed firearms dealers throughout the state, has reported their members have seen sales decrease up to 25 percent. In one instance, a gun store said its sales dropped by more than 60 percent.

Wisconsin gun shops made a lot of tax money from my purchases last year and will again this year. Ammunition, accessories (yes high capacity magazines) etc. No FOID required, no hassle, no problems unlike Illinois (firearm purchases not included as I have enough).
