Video: Chicago mayor slams Texas governor for ‘evil-spirited’ approach to migrant crisis – MSNBC

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson joins Rev. Al Sharpton to discuss the migrant crisis in the city and a recent budget allocation for a panel to study reparations. Johnson said of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, "He is attacking democratically run cities, and particularly cities that are being lead by black leaders and leaders of color. This is unconscionable. It is a very raggedy approach and quite frankly it is evil-spirited."

Brandon Johnson should be slammed for being a Jello headed racist. Keep electing such fools and watch your city disappear.

I don’t understand the “evil’ that Johnson is referring to. Texas is not a sanctuary state while Illinois is. Texas is merely a stopover point for those on their way to the sanctuary that these migrants seek and have been offered. Mexico too is a stopover point for many of the immigrants so, following the same logic, Mexico is evil spirited as well?

Exactly! Texas is just helping Chicago and Illinois be the best sanctuary that they can be!

That’s a great way to gain credibility, by appearing with Sharpton.

Credibility and Mayor Johnson?

I don’t think so.

Brandon needs to learn to take one for the team. Biden and his puppet master, BHO, are absolutely giddy over the chaos – millions of democratic voters for decades through proliferation (a/k/a anchor babies) and the 14th Amendment. They foresee a 100 Year Reich of supermajority liberal philosophy for our country.

Are they “democratically run cities” or cities run by Democrats? There is a difference.

Your comment is right on. And of course our illustrious mayor said they are all run by black mayors so the issue is racism as well.

Why are those Black mayors so racist?

Evil spirited? Nope, Mayor BJ, you’ve got it wrong. The “Christian” thing, the American way, to responsibly share your fellow citizen-neighbor’s unsought heavy burden, meaning if Texas Governor must unwillingly absorb Biden’s arriving massive wave of illegal migrants, then so should Illinois, and certainly Sanctuary City poster-boy Mayor BJ of Chicago, without casting blame on his fellow states’ agencies and local municipalities. Mayor BJ apparently is too shy to point blame at truly responsible party – Biden Administration, for causing this enormous illegal immigration problem. And that is certainly Mayor’s responsibility to do so, if he were actually a responsible… Read more »

Wow, talk about brain power. Here we have Mayor Raggedy and the most Reverend Al “Taxman” Sharpton giving us the lowdown on that evil doer from Texas. You could turn the volume all the way down and get just as much value from the discussion. Has anyone told BJ that he’s the mayor of a sanctuary city?

Brandon touches all the bases in this one. Texas is mean spirited. Abbott is a racist. Only black mayors are being targeted. And, oh, by the way, we need reparations too.

How is it mean spirited? These people know that Texas is overcrowded and doesn’t provide sanctuary services, and they want to go somewhere else with more free services and better opportunities. Abbott merely gives them what they are asking for.
