By ‘complicated’ they really mean that their skin was white, and the white man’s history has no place in schools populated by BIPOCs. It’s no longer about American History, it’s about BIPOC history of oppression in America.

That is, while America remains American before it dissolves in a majority BIPOC ethnostate.

They only want to rewrite history to suit their means.
You learn from history and those that don’t are doomed to repeat.
