Want To Start A Garden? The City Could Help You Pay For It – Block Club Chicago

The city’s $2 million investment in the growers program is paid for by pandemic relief funds from the Chicago Recovery Plan. The growers program is intended to “increase food equity in communities with a history of disinvestment” by building gardens for local growers, according to the news release.

As soon as an article refers to ‘equity,’ ‘racism,’ ‘transgender/gender ideology,’ ‘preferred pronouns,’ diversity,’ or ‘inclusion,’ I tune out. Just for good measure, throw in ‘disinformation’ and ‘misinformation.’ Those drums are wearing out and their impact simply diluted by overuse. Enough already – I won’t even bother to read the Block Club article, because it tends to be more race whining. Here’s a concept – race and gender are ACCIDENTS OF BIRTH.
