That’s my old home town that I left 6 years ago. I loved living in NL. Great little town. I seen low level crime creeping in before I left, shoplifting and such, but it was taxes that chased me out. Good luck New Lenox!
A fun thing to do is to look at any plea deal that Kim Foxx offers and add up the number of felony charges that are dismissed. You might think that only one or two felony charges would get dismissed. That would be wrong. I’ve seem as many as 70 (!!!) felony charges dismissed in one plea deal. Many plea deals dismiss dozens of felony charges.
When this Mayor talks about Kim Foxx “downgrading charges and accepting pleas”, he is being polite.
Not one word from the Rev. Al Sharpton on all the black on black crime in Chicago and around the country. Self inflicted genocide and not one word. But if a white cop shot a young black man the Rev. Sharpton would fly in a private jet to give some sort of racist speech.
The world around us is collapsing at breakneck speeds.
Well spoken–we are done taking the blows for incompetent cook county, chi and state politicians. Enforce the law…or watch chaos continue to unfold.
