They’re called mass casualty event, like it’s a bus accident when Black people do it, but they’re called mass shootings when white people do them.

Mayor Lightfoot has a 50+ army of CPD guys protecting herself and her property, all on taxpayers’ dime, at taxpayers’ related loss of man-power enforcement and chance of protection from rampant street-crime.

Look at Ms Lightfoot, cowering behind those cops she hates!

Somebody just did a whole chicago weekend’s worth of killing in a few minutes. It’s almost as if there is some sort of contest to see who can kill the most gang rivals and innocent bystanders. It’s a race to the bottom. The solution? Investigate, arrest, prosecute, incarcerate those found guilty. Nothing else is going to work. Not violence interrupters, not social justice warriors, not drum circles, not chorus groups singing Kumbayah. Chicago is so safe perhaps our mayor can clarify why she needs a regiment guarding her home. Maybe enlighten the citizens why all police are required to be ready for mayhem at a moments notice. Remember Chicago, everything is just fine!

I think you are over stating the manpower deployed in the protection of Her Royal Lowness. I think it is much closer to an under strength battalion with three companies of 250 highly trained and well paid professionals. That’s one company per 8 hour shift. That is probably enough force to handle the ghosts she sees behind every tree.
