Western Illinois Town Disbands Police Force Due to Budget – NBC5 (Chicago)

If there was a police department, the community would also be expected to pay for body cameras and additional officer training under new rules for law enforcement. The village will instead have an ordinance enforcer who’ll be able to cite residents for violations.

I wonder if Rita Crudwell is handling the books. East Galesburg has on street boat parking. Doesn’t look like they spend anything.

Well as we can see there will still be revenue raising tickets imposed upon the planted in place residents but things like robberies…well you know.
