A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
The Irish politicians went the way of the German tavern keeper, the Polish baker and the Italian deli. Chicago was a great town then, and is now a dirty shell of itself rife with crime, barred windows and doors and billboards and graffiti in Spanish.
Is this part of the rejuvenation some of Chicago’s public sector “leaders” have been telling us about?
This is so true, Madigan’s district turned a majority hispanic near the end of his reign of terror over Illinois. Like Brandon Johnson likes to say, and I’m paraphrasing, black people are in charge now, so you better get used to it. I read some comment on twitter quoting anonymous sources within the Bears and NFL organization that flat out accused his administration of being a black racial patronage network with no accountability or sense of urgency to keep the Bears in Chicago.
